and subject matter - developing photographs in a home-made darkroom she built into the bedroom of her Hollywood apartment.
At 24, she began taking photography seriously as a form of self-expression, studying lighting from painter (and then-boyfriend) Bryten Goss. Over the next few years she honed her craft, finding numerous willing models amongst her friends and drawing on her depth of life experience to create beautiful works of art.
In 2008, she had her first exhibit (alongside close friend Shalon Goss), hosted by her uncle (noted actor) Michael Weatherly and presented by Edgar Valera.
“I had so much to express emotionally with this show. Each photo is an expression of myself and the things I have gone through in the last three years. From my perspective, the purpose of art is to evoke feeling and to inspire. That's all I hope to achieve”.
